Company Overview
Why Iris Lab?
In the rapidly evolving field of robotics, we stand at the brink of a societal transformation. Robots and autonomous systems hold the potential to redefine how we work, live, and interact, taking over manual and repetitive tasks to empower humans to focus on creativity and innovation. However, one of the biggest challenges limiting their full potential is energy—current solutions constrain their autonomy and capabilities.
What do we do?
At Iris Lab, we are solving this problem with groundbreaking laser power transmission technology, enabling robots and drones to operate continuously and efficiently. By addressing this critical bottleneck, we are paving the way for these systems to thrive and transform industries, from logistics to healthcare, manufacturing and agriculture, making our vision of a more productive and sustainable future a reality.
Who are we?
We are Nicolas (CEO, ISAE-Supaero, Bain & Company), Bastien (COO, ISAE-Supaero, HEC) and Lakshman (CTO, PhD at Ecole Polytechnique). With Jeremy, Federico and Theodore, we are a team of dynamic, engaged individuals driven by a shared mission: to harness the power of technology to create a better world for all.
If you’re passionate about innovation and ready to help shape the future of robotics, we’d love for you to join us.
